I feel my life journey has led me to my present job at FUMC Hudson. Raised in a hardworking Michigan farmer's family with my family living their Christian faith, what wonderful mentors I have had. I have worked at Sak's in New York in sales and management, switched to owning and operating an auto repair garage with my late husband in New York City. I moved to Hudson in 1986 where I owned and operated a commercial fishing marina for 19 years. I’m still involved in the fishing industry in Hudson and own a 56 ft. deep sea fishing boat, which my husband captains. I first attended church here Christmas 1986, and loved the music. I was asked 20 years ago if I was interested in the custodial job here, I said yes, and my position was changed to Facility director a year later. I love my job. God's church family is wonderful to work for and best of all there is no better job than caring for God's campus and buildings in Hudson.
